Cake Mix Cookies

Here is an easy recipe for making cookies from a cake mix. Think Valentine's and use a Strawberry cake mix and pink frosting. Or a Chocolate cake mix and Pink frosting.

Cake Mix Cookies
Favorite cake mix
1/2 C. vegetable oil
2 eggs
Raisins, nuts, chocolate chips (your choice)

Mix. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.

Homemade Oreo Cookies

Oreo cookies are my absolute favorite cookie. There is the perfect balance between the dark chocolate flavor and cream. I stumbled across this recipe for homemade Oreos and it is definitely a little gem.

Oreo Cookies
1 box devils food cake mix
4 oz. cream cheese
3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
Vanilla to taste

Mix and roll into small penny size balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 for 10 minutes.

Filling:
4 oz Cream cheese
vanilla to taste
3/4 C. powdered sugar
